Nicole Bauberger - Fish and Fire

These works owe something to the sewing I learned with Mrs. Annie Smith, late elder of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. Also to Dave McKean, who illustrated The Day I Swapped my Dad for Two Goldfish by Neil Gaiman.

Two people, adult and child, walk down the trail beside the Dalton Trail Trail Gallery, an outdoor gallery I created in Hillcrest, in Whitehorse. I am working in my backyard. I hear a young voice exclaim its discovery. “Look! A fish!”

Thanks Dean Eyre at Cadence Cycle for saving me the bike reflectors.
