Aleks Bartosik - Nest

the process of weaving the nest mimics that of the way a  bird does with her beak, or the way another animal creates other intricate things such as building a dam in the river, weaving a basket, sewing a quilt, inking the flesh, folding origami; all tasks with reparative precision + care.  

"nest" installation aims to seek and give comfort or pleasure.
